At Renault we are mindful of today’s major ecological challenges and for almost 20 years we have been committing to reduce the environmental impact of our activities and products throughout their life cycle, from design to recycling. To that end, we create solutions and measure their effectiveness year after year and generation after generation.

Through the efforts of its various divisions, we have cut our annual carbon footprint by 3.3% between  2010 and 2014 thanks to more efficient logistics, recycling of materials, renewable energy sources etc. ...

Our strategy aims to reduce vehicle consumption in order to cut customer spending on fuel and decrease greenhouse gas emissions and we allocate 60% of our spending on research and advanced engineering each year to this goal.

We are proud to be pioneer in all-electric vehicles and to be the only automaker with a range of four electric vehicles. In this video by experts from outside the company highlight the key role electric vehicles have to play in improving air quality in cities, since they emit neither NOx nor fine particles during driving.
