Alpine: excitement mounting around stand 4242 (Hall 4)

2017 Berlinette Alpine A110 Design Save the Date

This is the moment everyone’s been waiting for: it’s been getting on for year now, since Carlos Ghosn’s official presentation of the latest show car in Monaco. So here it is: Michael van der Sande will be unveiling the brand new Alpine at 13:15 (an event you can follow live on our website). You can see the concentration on everyone’s faces around the Alpine stand. And the car’s under wraps, not to mention the impressive security blanket, so we really can’t tell you anything more right now.

What is sure is that after the hints tweeted by Alpine chief Michael van der Sande, and opening of the orderbook in December, the stand is expecting very many visitors over the days to come. Come along and see for yourself!

The minutes are ticking by and the stand is almost ready. Outside you can feel the invigorating mountain air coming in from the Alps nearby, so what could be a more appropriate venue than Geneva?

Renault: Surprises in store as ever

You can always count on Renault for eyebrow-raising revelations at its motor-show press conferences. Last September, crowds were wowed by Renault TreZor (voted concept car of the year). So we shouldn’t be all that surprised to see a fresh surprise from Renault at Geneva this year. You can find out for yourself by tuning in to our live coverage of the press conference at 12:15, on our website, Facebook page or YouTube channel.

In any case, excitement is mounting at the Renault stand. People are making the final adjustments. The prompter is being readied, the hostesses are being briefed, and the technical teams are busy positioning the vehicles. There’s a precisely assigned place for everything, and the exercise is far from simple given the sheer number of vehicles we’re showing at Geneva, starting from little Twingo right through to New Koleos and Alaskan, our very first one-tonne pickup, not to mention our ZE range. There really is something for everyone.

Dacia: a success story

Dacia, at its usual Hall 2 location, is showing off its whole range to journalists from the world over. And as usual, there’s a surprise in store in the traditional box at the blue and red stand. Didn’t I say there were surprises in store all round?
