Shanghai Motor Show, 19 April 2017. At the Shanghai Show, Renault will be unveiling its R.S. 2027 Vision concept car, an enthralling stylistic opinion on the shape of Formula 1 to come, informed by forty years’ winning experience in the sport. What will Formula 1 look like in 2027?

After delighting all-comers with revelation of the TREZOR electric concept car at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, our designers turned their attention to the future of Formula 1.

40 year involvement in Formula 1

Building on its historic experience in F1, Renault confirmed its ongoing involvement in this discipline over the years to come by taking up the considerable design challenge of building a concept car to express its vision of the Formula 1 of the future. The new car hazards an answer to the question of what motorsport enthusiasts might expect to see on the F1 racetracks around 2027.
