The birth of a Renault concept car: DeZir, Captur, R-Space & Frendzy

Inspired by Renault’s new design strategy, under the leadership of Laurens van den Acker, Renault’s new concept cars represent each phase in the cycle of life, including love, exploring the world as a couple, starting a family, work, leisure and wisdom.

DeZir, the electric sport coupé, launched at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, symbolizes the first step in the strategy, love:

Captur, the sculptural crossover revealed at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show launches the phase of exploring the world as a couple:

R-Space, also unveiled in 2011 at the Geneva show, is a fun-loving minivan that recalls the sensuality of DeZir and express the family stage in the life cycle:

Frendzy, a vehicle with two personalities, part van part passenger car, presented at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, represents the work phase:
