Exclusive information

On 10 December 2016 Alpine tweeted a major news item, informing enthusiasts that an advance payment of €2,000 could secure them one of the first 1,955 models forming the Première Édition of the forthcoming Alpine production model. The initial release of 1,955 units is obviously a nod to the year of birth of this emblematic French racing brand.

At the same time, the Alpine website released some hitherto unpublished information:

Alpine Première Édition would boast exclusive features. Pricing and technical specifications would be released in the first quarter of 2017. The VAT-inclusive price would be somewhere between €55,000 and €60,000. Acceleration from standstill to 100 km/h would be 4.5 seconds. And the first happy customers would be taking delivery toward the end of 2017.

The orderbook is open!

When the first 1,955 units sold out in under three days, Michael Van der Sande announced opening of the orderbook on Twitter. If you’re interested, nothing could be easier:

1. Download the Alpine application on your smartphone (AppStore or Google Play) to place your order
2. Select your colour choice
3. Paid the €2,000 advance
4. Stand by: the Alpine team will be getting back to you very soon
