An architect by training, Tina Kentner works at Groupe Renault in the Group Design Identity division. An incongruous position? Quite the opposite. Her skills are essential to the development of many key projects, the most recent of which include the house that was part of the ecosystem of the SYMBIOZ autonomous hatchback concept at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, and the EZ-GO autonomous robo-car concept station at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Stéphane Janin was appointed head of Renault's Concept Car Design department in 2014. In this capacity, he led his team in developing the SYMBIOZ concept car presented at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. Compared with previous concept cars TREZOR and R.S. 2027 Vision, the approach was totally different this time round, since the concept is linked to a real home! Villa d’Este (Italy), May 28, 2017 – The TreZor has scooped another award, winning top place in the prototype and concept car category at the very prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este event. This gives international fame to TreZor and promotes Renault’s French design image. The accolade is also a great source of pride for the entire team who worked to create the TreZor. Groupe Renault’s industrial design team celebrated in 2015 the 50th anniversary of the disappearance of Le Corbusier (1965-2015) by designing and creating a project for a 21st century car inspired by the architect’s modernist principles and theories.
