An architect at the service of design

An architect by training, Tina Kentner works at Groupe Renault in the Group Design Identity division. An incongruous position? Quite the opposite. #IAA2017 RENAULT SYMBIOZ CONCEPT: THREE QUESTIONS FOR STEPHANE JANIN

Stéphane Janin was appointed head of Renault's Concept Car Design department in 2014. In this capacity, he led his team in developing the SYMBIOZ concept car presented at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. Compared with previous concept cars TREZOR and R.S. 2027 Vision, the approach was totally different this time round, since the concept is linked to a real home! TreZor: awarded prize at the prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este

Villa d’Este (Italy), May 28, 2017 – The TreZor has scooped another award, winning top place in the prototype and concept car category at the very prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este event. This gives international fame to TreZor and promotes Renault’s French design image. The accolade is also a great source of pride for the entire team who worked to create the TreZor. We interviewed Stéphane Janin, head of concept car design, on the subject.
