Head of Renault Mobility Services at Alliance Business Development, Mobility Services, Patrick Vergelas explains Groupe Renault’s vision of the shared mobility of tomorrow. He backs up this vision with the three robo-vehicle concepts—EZ-GO, EZ-PRO and EZ-ULTIMO—presented this year.
The Renault EZ-ULTIMO, the latest in the 2018 trilogy of concept-cars illustrating the future of shared mobility, is a design showcase for a premium and immersive mobility experience. Here are some photos detailing this symbol of French style and elegance.
2018 Paris Motor Show - EZ-GO, EZ-PRO, EZ-ULTIMO, the trilogy of shared mobility according to Groupe Renault
With EZ-ULTIMO, Renault completes its 2018 trilogy of robot-vehicle concepts that explore the shared mobility of tomorrow. Functional or emotional, for the transport of goods or people, EZ-GO, EZ-PRO and EZ-ULTIMO say a lot about the future vision of Groupe Renault.
“Sustainable mobility for all, now and in the future” is Groupe Renault’s credo. In the future, mobility will be electric, connected, autonomous and shared. And that includes deliveries, especially in the “last mile”. To get there, it will be essential to bring delivery logistics and real life together under one “mixed” roof. Here’s how.
The Geneva Motor Show ended on Sunday, March 18, 2018. Here's a look back at the 88th edition of the event and at the unveiling of the new Renault EZ-GO concept, the key news item from Groupe Renault.
Director of Concept Car Design at Renault since 2014, Stéphane Janin recently took on a new challenge with his teams: developing a "robot-vehicle" expressing Renault's vision of the future of shared mobility. The result is the Renault EZ-GO concept, unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The task was radically different from the previous concept cars TREZOR and SYMBIOZ since the design team had to "forget" the driver's station and factor in the particular constraints of the collective use of the robot-vehicle, which presages our urban journeys of the future. Stéphane Janin filled us in on this original approach.
It’s an electric "robo-vehicle" that moves around the center of a smart connected city. It makes urban trips and the everyday life of this city’s users simpler. It’s a shared, multifunction mobility service. It’s EZ-GO, Renault’s new concept-car, introduced at the Geneva Motor Show.
At Geneva International Motor Show, Groupe Renault will unveil its vision of shared urban mobility; driverless, electric and connected. After introducing last year its vision of personal owned mobility with Symbioz Concept, Groupe Renault completes today with EZ-GO Concept its vision of the future of mobility, based on both car ownership and shared mobility options. Meet Renault EZ-GO on March 6th, at 9:00 am (CET).
The Renault SYMBIOZ Demo Car prototype, currently being tested on French roads, is an autonomous, electric and connected vehicle embodying Renault's vision of personal mobility for 2023. The vehicle is packed with technology but would not be useful if it failed to harness those features to improve the in-car experience and traveling well-being.
Renault reaches a new milestone in sharing it vision of the future with its SYMBIOZ Demo car, the first Level 4 prototype bringing to life the SYMBIOZ concept-car unveiled last September at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Are you ready? Imagine yourself in 2023, comfortably sitting in a living-room style cabin, enjoying the ride without paying attention to the driving. Welcome aboard the SYMBIOZ Demo car. Let’s take a tour through this electric, autonomous and connected vehicle… It's now being tested on the road.
