The Paris Motor Show, a key event in the automotive industry calendar, opens to media professionals from all over the world tomorrow. This is one of the world’s most visited auto shows, with attendance at the 2014 event topping 1.2 million. At this years’ show, open to the public from 1 to 16 October, the exhibition area of 125,000 square metres will be shared by some 260 exhibitors in all.
Visitors of every description have been flocking to the Renault stand since the motor show opened last week. Among the journalists, camera on shoulder and phone at ear, the tourists, looking half-interested and half-lost, and the enthusiasts, with ear-to-ear smiles and smartphones snapping away, you could also spot that most curious of rare birds: the celebrity.
