At the LH Forum on “Positive Economy”, held in Le Havre from September 25 to 27, 2013 and drawing 3,000 participants, Claire Martin, VP, Corporate Social Responsibility for the Renault group, launched a call for projects.

One of those companies is Chauffeur&Go which works to help people get back into the professional world. With the status of “collective interest cooperative company” (SCIC) in France, Chauffeur&Go provides individuals and companies with drivers that drive customers’ vehicle whenever the customers can’t or don’t want to drive themselves.

We are convinced that the partnership will enable Chauffeur&Go to succeed in its second phase of development.”

In addition to financial investment, the Mobiliz team provides regular support and access to internal resources, including engineers, salespeople, and legal and financial specialists. The company can also open up business development opportunities.
Selection criteria and investment types
- Activity: mobility of goods and persons and job-creation linked to mobility
- Legal structure: all types (companies, cooperatives, organizations)
- Location: France and international
- Project phase: Initiation/development
- Finance: Equity (minority stake) or debt
- Financial commitment: €50,000 to €500,000
- Period: 5 to 7 years
An investment committee, made up of Renault directors and independent experts in social entrepreneurship and risk capital, selects the best projects in line with two main criteria: social impact and economic viability.
Any profits made from these investments will be reinvested in other inclusive mobility projects and will not give rise to a Renault dividend payment.
