Nissan and Barcelona, an electric partnership
Carlos Ghosn, Nissan CEO, in the presence of Xavier Trias, Mayor of Barcelona, introduced the e-NV 200. This zero emission LCV is based on the award-winning NV200 van and will be produced in Barcelona. This vehicle, will be used as a taxi in Barcelona. Nissan and the city of Barcelona also intend to promote the use of electric vehicles for the delivery of goods.
New X -Trail
The new X -Trail was world premiered at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The new generation X -Trail has a high-end vibe to it and looks more dynamic. It now looks more like an SUV than a 4x4 and will appeal to families since it is available as a 7-seater. The X -Trail is available in 2 or 4 wheel drive and will feature the latest generation navigation system NissanConnect.
Friend-ME
Unveiled in Shanghai, Friend-ME is making its European debut in Frankfurt. Nissan's objective with this concept was to appeal to the new largest world segment: Bālínghòu, the 240 million Chinese born in the 1980s. Friend-ME's strength and flowing lines give it a muscular look. Low and wide, it definitely looks more aggressive and sporty than conventional sedans. Interior-wise, four seats embody high-tech. No separation between driver and passengers. Everyone shares the same information than the driver : speed, remaining fuel, navigation... Nissan Friend-ME is the fruit of a collaboration between design teams Nissan Design China (NDC) and Nissan Global Design Center (NGDC).
