A few weeks ago we called on you to vote for New Clio as part of the 2012 Most Beautiful Car of the Year award. The results of the contest were announced on 29 January. The Mercedes A Class won the most votes from the general public. Our congratulations to the winner – and to New Clio’s top-three finish!
In all, some 100,000 web users from 52 countries voted for their favorite car via special websites and Facebook. The only criterion under consideration was design. Thank you to all those who voted for our attractive hatchback. But in the end, the most important verdict is that of our customers. And on that score, New Clio already has a veritable army of supporters.
And while we’re on the subject of design, let’s take a look back at the genesis of New Clio!
Organized as part of the International Automobile Festival in Paris, the ceremony also saw an award go to the Alpine A110-50 concept car, in the form of the Special Jury Prize. The beautiful racer certainly deserves the distinction!
