Renault Duster 14th in the Dakar 2014 !

On January 18th, the Renault Duster team finished 14th in the 2014 Dakar. The two pilots Emiliano Spataro and Benjamín Lozada achieved their goal of being in the top 15 in general category.

 After the 157-kilometre special stage, the Renault Duster arrived in Valparaíso in 15th position – just 09m07s behind the stage winner, South African Giniel De Villiers. 

Spataro achieved his goal for the 2014 Dakar with room to spare, because he finished 14th overall – 10:18:48 behind Spain’s Nani Roma, winner of the car category.

After two weeks and 9,275 kilometers, the pilots managed to put Renault among the top four brands in the competition. Renault Duster triumphed as the best Argentine-made vehicle in the history of the event.

Congratulations to the Argentinian teams for this historic performance!
