Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull Racing), paid Renault employees a visit at the Renault Technocentre in Guyancourt, in the outskirts of Paris.

Today, Vettel was able to discover Renault's Design center alongside SVP Corporate Design, Laurens van den Acker, he also had the chance to do a few laps at the wheel of Twizy, the 100% electric Renault 2-seater and finally, exchanged with Renault employees during a Q&A session.

He was accompanied by the men of Viry, where Renault's engine production activities are based and where the RS27 -2012 powertrain is developed. Among them, Rémi Taffin (track operations manager), Cyril Dumond (engine engineer for Sebastian Vettel), Jean-Francois Caubet (Renault Sport F1 managing director) and Jean-Michel Jalinier (Renault Sport F1 president).

Follow the steps of Vettel throughout these pictures and be ready for some unexpected confessions from this young pilot, close to the "Lozenge's" heart.

Upon his arrival at the Technocentre, Sebastian Vettel took Twizy for a spin. Its chassis is, after all, developed by Renault Sport

Back to the future! Vettel at the wheel of the Renault Type K car, which won the Paris-Vienna race in 1902. This meetup symbolizes the Renault's 110 years of powertrain excellence

Sebastian Vettel also had the privilege of getting behind the usually closed doors of Renault Design. He had a very knowledgeable host in the person of SVP, Corporate Design, Laurens van den Acker, who showed him around and introduced him to some work in progress

"La Ruche", one of the Technocentre's buildings, where the Q&A session took place, welcomed hundreds of employees, who came to talk to the Red Bull Racing pilot

On stage, Vettel admitted to sometimes thinking "about random things" while racing and also revealed there were no Alcotests on the tracks...and told the crowd the GP he enjoys the least is the Singapore GP #confession

A little gift from the Technocentre director, a portrait of concept car DeZir, which Vettel had the chance to drive at the Nürburgring last year

Last autograph session...

...before leaving his stamp on the Technocentre's history. Mission accomplished !
