Despite being one of the world’s leading oil and gas exporters, 95% of Norway’s electricity comes from renewable sources and the country is the worldwide leader in electric mobility. One third of all electric vehicles sold in Europe are registered in Norway, with 60,000 vehicles on the road. One quarter of all new cars are EV and EV sales are doubling year on year.
