Senior Vice President, Product Planning
He started his career at Nissan Motor Company in the US in 1981 as a Product Specialist, Product Planning. In 1984, he joined J.D. Power & Associates as Project Director before moving to Hyundai Motor America in 1986 as National Manager, Product Planning.
In 1991, he returned to Nissan North America to become Corporate Manager in the Product and Market Strategy department. In 2000, he was appointed Program Director for D-platform (Altima, Teana, Maxima, Murano), before heading the Product Planning of Nissan as General Manager in 2005 and then Corporate Vice President in 2006.
As of April 1st, 2012, Thomas Lane, is appointed SVP, Product Planning for Renault Group and enter the Renault Management Committee.
