Born in 1973, Arnaud Molinié graduated from the ESJ School of Journalism and the École des Hautes Etudes Politiques et Sociales (HEPS) Paris (Political & social science School).

He began his career as a journalist with Nouvelles de Versailles, then as a market researcher at S.I.G. (French Government Information Department) before joining the senior management team at Lyonnaise des Eaux.

In 1998, he became head of Communications for Genopole (French Government genetics research program) until 2000, when he left to join the Lagardère group, where he remained for 11 years, working successively as SVP of Communications, SVP of Strategy and Development, Managing Director of activities and CEO of various subsidiaries, including Lagardère Entertainment, which he founded in 2007.

He moved to Deloitte in 2015, firstly as a senior advisor and subsequently as a partner up until December 2018.

Arnaud Molinié joined Groupe Renault in January 2019 as Senior Vice President Mobility Services. He is a member of Groupe Renault Management Committee.
