Alliance Senior Vice President, Powertrain and EV Engineering
Born in 1964, Philippe Brunet graduated from Centrale Nantes and IFP School (France).
He joined the Renault Formula One team in 1989 as motorist, where he held several positions in testing, simulations and design of the F1 V10 engine.
In 2000, he joined the Renault Powertrain Div., as Chief Engineer of the 2,0l dCi, 1st Alliance Diesel engine. In 2005, he became Senior Manager responsible for Powertrain performance target settings, and was appointed in 2007, General Manager in charge of Powertrain Software and Calibration.
In 2012, he joined the Program as D-segment Program Director responsible for New Espace, Talisman/SM6 and New Koleos/QM6.
On January 1st, 2017, Philippe Brunet is appointed Alliance Global Vice President, Powertrain and EV engineering.
On April 1st, 2018, he becomes Alliance Senior Vice President, Powertrain and EV Engineering.
Philippe Brunet is a member of Groupe Renault Management Committee.
