Background

  • 1951: Creation of the Fabrication Automobiles SA company (FASA).
  • 1953: 4 cv start of production.
  • 1962: Creation of the assembly plant, under the name FACSA (Fabrication Carrosseries SA).
  • 1972: Creation of the bodywork plant.
  • 1972: Renault 5 start of production.
  • 1989: Clio I start of production.
  • 1995: Bodywork and assembly activities are grouped together into the Montaje plant of Valladolid.
  • 1997: Clio II start of production.
  • 2003: Designation of the plant for the industrialization of Modus.
  • 2004: Launch of Modus production.
  • 2006: Start-up for Clio III production.
  • 2007: Production start-up for New Modus and Grand Modus.
  • 2008: Inauguration of solar energy facilities.
  • 2011: Inauguration of the Z.E Building where Twizy is produced.
  • 2012: Twizy start of production.
  • 2012: The Factory obtains the Agreement to “Built Plant Trial 1″ for Captur.
  • 2013: The King of Spain, Juan Carlos I,  and Carlos Ghosn  inaugurate the  Captur’s line.
  • 2014: More than 250.000 Captur reached in November; a third team was set up to respond to the commercial demand on Captur.
  • 2015: 500.000th Captur manufactured at Valladolid, Captur exported to China, renamed Kabin.
  • 2016: Export of Captur to 72 countries.
  • 2017: End of J87 Ph 1 (Captur) production and launch of production of J87 Ph 2 (Captur II). Manufacturing Captur 1.000.000.
