Graduate programmes combine different assignments within the same area. I studied at a business school. I’ve been part of the Alpine Adventure at Renault Retail Group since December 2016. As an Alpine “Expert,” my role is to support clients as they go through the process of purchasing their new Alpine A110. The Graduate Programme at Groupe Renault is a chance to join a very large automotive group. It’s also a chance to discover the life and the rhythm of automobile distribution in a dealership over two years, before moving on to a marketing position.
I started the Graduate Programme after studying Business and doing a year-long apprenticeship at Renault, as an assistant product head on the electric vehicle (Kangoo ZE). At age 27, I also managed a workshop of 54 people. It’s rare to find a company that puts young people in positions of responsibility so quickly. The graduate programme is a true human experience that’s let me achieve and feel confident in my current position as Product Head at World Corporate working on Ixell.

I did a programme in Marketing and Business Strategy with a specialisation in Services. Then I joined the graduate programme at Groupe Renault in June 2013. I was attracted to the diversity of careers that Groupe Renault offered. It’s a dream area for any marketer looking to find their path between products, services, operations, strategy, BtoB and BtoC.
Back in France after doing a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering in Montreal, I happened to run across a recruitment ad for the graduate programme. The graduate programme’s two-part division attracted me. I wanted to give my career a managerial direction. I started at a workshop and on a team. It was a considerable challenge. The second part, in engineering, interested me because of its international dimension. The graduate programme let me meet people from different backgrounds and experiences. This diversity is a source of learning, and it brings new cultural, personal, and professional perspectives.

I joined the graduate programme in February 2015, after getting my degree in Industrial Engineering. What drew me to the programme was the prospect of growing within the company and the diversity of positions. I started as a stamping unit head, and I supervised a team of 20 people in manufacturing. I’m preparing to join the Technocentre as an Engineering Leader in Assembly Methods. I’ll lead a complete flow restructuring project for the Maubeuge plant. What is one of the biggest assets of this graduate programme? Being part of a “class” with other engineers in the programme. Through meetings and various events, we make up a network that extends over several sites in various fields.
